Helen-Clare-Wren-Russ is a Marriage and Family Therapist who brings warmth, compassion, and a creative perspective to her work with children, teens, adults, and families at VRI. With years of experience in community mental health, crisis services, and outpatient settings, she has supported clients through a wide range of life challenges. She also has particular experience working with children and adolescents in school-based settings, where she has provided therapeutic support to students navigating emotional, behavioral, social, and academic challenges.
As a Registered Drama Therapist, Helen-Clare also brings a unique understanding of the healing power of creativity and self-expression. She believes therapy doesn’t have to look the same for everyone and enjoys helping clients find approaches that feel natural and meaningful to them.
Her goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel heard, understood, and never judged. She meets each person where they are and works collaboratively to help them better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change.
